During the discussion or lecture, the pen captures the notes and the audio. However, not until the pen is docked on the USB dock, do the notes upload to the computer so that you can see a visual image of them. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Most teachers would use a document camera to allow students to see the notes being taken during class time and then upload the notes to the pencast for students to access afterward.
