Having Problems Uploading Pencasts to Livescribe Online?

I've been unable to upload pencasts all week and still haven't been able to get the pencasts from the Conference Scribe program at the State Education Conference last week uploaded.

I spent some time on the phone yesterday with tech support and they explained that with the launch of the new apps store, the Livescribe servers are having problems keeping up with the traffic load. So, if you are having problems uploading pencasts, that would be the most likely explanation. 

Hopefully with the upcoming Thanksgiving break, Livescribe will have the situation rectified shortly.

Guess this is just one of the "growing pains" of expanding and improving a product.

  1. Livescribe FAILS miserably here! I've been having problems for WEEKS with this after being a loyal customer for nearly two years.... I emailed them, they sent me a file, it ran as the instructions indicated, and I STILL can't upload... They better get their back-end server issues straightened out - I can't recommend the product until they do. THis is ridiculous...

  2. Lisa - did you get your pen problem figured out? I finally found an answer to my problem and what a big relief it was. All 11 of my pens are now working like a charm!

  4. My problem was that I had named my pens with an illegal character in the name, which is a no-no. I was actually using a number sign in the pen name. As soon as I changed the name to something without the number sign, everything worked like a charm!
